An event promoting Sergiusz Pinkwart’s book “Warto marzyć” (“It’s worthwhile to have dreams”), written to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of ROMA Musical Theatre, was held in cooperation with EMPIK in the Arkadia Shopping Centre on Saturday, March 23. Katarzyna Burzyńska-Sychowicz, the host of the event, interviewed the Managing Director of ROMA MT Wojciech Kępczyński and the authors of the “Pilots” musical – Michał Wojnarowski, author of the lyrics and Literary Director of ROMA MT, and Jakub Lubowicz who wrote the score for the musical together with his brother Dawid. Most importantly, the stage at Arkadia was taken by outstanding actors from ROMA Musical Theatre – Malwina Kusior, Edyta Krzemień, Marta Wiejak, Janusz Kruciński, Paweł Kubat, Andrzej Skorupa and Jan Traczyk – who presented a short medley of the songs from shows ROMA MT run over the last two decades. The large audience of musical theatre fans could listen to the vocal numbers from such musicals as “Crazy For You”, “Cats”, “Singin’ in the Rain”, “The Phantom of the Opera”, “Mamma Mia!”, “Pilots” and others. At the end of the meeting, authors and artists signed autographs.
